Why these break
Filter clips fatigue and the mesh filter drops out. Heat cycling is the killer here: years of expanding and contracting work-hardens the plastic until a routine bump becomes the final straw.
How we reproduce them
This is a quick job on our end — we take dimensions from your old part, adjust for print tolerances, and run a small batch so you have spares for next time.
We print these in ABS. ABS matches the look and feel of the factory plastic, takes a sanded or textured finish well, and handles cabin temperatures without complaint.
